Course Description

This course will provide participants with the essential knowledge and skills to produce their own paint products. In this course, you will gain understanding of the ingredients and components used in paint production and the necessary processes to carry out safe and efficient paint production. You will be able to put your knowledge into practice with a series of practical exercises, giving you the opportunity to develop your own paint products and test them in the laboratory. By the end of the course, you will have the confidence and skills necessary to produce your own paint products safely and efficiently. PRE-COURSE REQUIREMENTS & TARGET GROUP Must be a practicing painter, entrepreneurs, paint technicians, and anyone interested in learning more about the production of paint products. COURSE DURATION 2 Weeks | Monday – Friday: (9:00am – 4:00pm) LUNCH & TEA BREAKS Provided daily HOSTEL ACCOMODATION This is available at an extra cost MODE OF DELIVERY Our trainings are held in a comfortable and modern facility, delivered in an interactive and engaging format. •Each trainee will be issued with a comprehensive folder of course notes, covering the scope of the course. The use of overhead projectors and power point presentations are employed throughout. •Trainees are encouraged to ask questions and to take an active part in class discussions. •30% theory and 70% practical •Each trainee will be issued with hand tools and power tool required to do all practical tasks. •The instructor demonstrates how to do the task to small groups, the number depending on how difficult the task is.
